I am unfit!

reporter: Jonathan, 26.4.06

As you may have been previously unaware, I thought I would let you know that I am increadibly unfit. But I want to change this so I started jogging before I went away at easter and was trying to think of a way to programme this jogging so I could develop my fitness. But then why think too much when you can find something that someone else has already done. My girlfriend had found a seven week programme to develop stamina for running, so I thought I'd give it a go.

Here it is...

I only started this week so I dunno how effective it is yet. But for me it seems that it was a good place to start. So far it has not been too hardout and yet has not been too easy. Good stuff.

Bening the martial arts type, I'm sure Bryan could write you up a training schedule if you asked nicely (bribery may be an option).

Seriously... he actually knows what he's talking about for a change ;-)

This should be good for Agassi's tennis fitness.

This guys is pretending to be two separate reporters when he's not even. I think we need some new reporters.

I am the reporter who has replaced the sacked reporters - or should I say reporter.

However I heartily concur with them/him/her.

Thanks Weeman. I haven't got back into my swimming yet cos I didn't want it to stuff up my running programme. But once you're back I should be into the swing of it and should be sweet. Are you back on the 8th?

Observer1... Yes, unfortunated everyone's been fired. Of course excepting Bill Ralston.

I personally recommend walking out the back way of Britomart and up the hundred or so steps to Princes St/UoA, there and back.

Did your girlfriend tell you that when she did that programme she read the first week wrong? Instead of running 1 minute walking 2 mins she did it round the other way. Blondie blonde. And she was thinking the whole time how unfit she must be and what a stupid unrealistic programme it was. haha But yeah it should be a good starter. I'm glad you can read. 1 week down. 6 to go!!!! Keep up the good work.
